2ND Annual Crime and Violence Symposium: "The Effects of Violence in Los Angeles County, and the Application of LOVE as it's Solution"

The city of Los Angeles is one of the most visited and vacationed in the nation, and a city that has the entertainment capital as it's crown jewel!
Los Angeles is also a city that has many benefits to offer it's citizens, including mass diversity opportunities for advancement that continue to remain steady. There is an old saying among generational residents that continue to ring true: if you cannot make it in Los angeles, you will never make it in another city!! We who live in Los angeles County love Los Angeles!!
What we do not love is the fact that crime and violence contiues to take the lives of our youth at a record rate and that fear walks the streets 24 hours per day as it's residents. Many shake their heads daily at news and local media reports of some of the most horrific crimes ever committed, and the reports are increasinly scary!
How does one cope and attempt to live a safe and secure life among the reports? will I be next is everyone's fear and aniexty. On February 2nd, panelists and speakers from the community of law enforcement, faith based institutions, formerly of the military, the school system and others will convene to offer answerrs and solutions at the 2nd Annual Violence and Crime related Symposium.
All are invited and encouraged to attend the Free/No Cost event and hear how you can play a part in working with organizations who care about our city and who have ideas and concepts that are presently working in the area of crime decrease, and who will share how LOVE or a lack of this emotion is playing out in our homes, schools and streets in our communty, for the good and the bad.
Our invited and confirmed speaker panelists are:
Ms Denise Estelle, Executive Director of Estelle for Humannity, and Founder/Chairwoman for "Honor Thy Father Foundation.....Ms Janice M Lauderdale, Executive Director for The Los Angeles Coalition for the Protection Against Elder Abuse......Dr Joseph N. Jackson, U.S. Army Retired Non comissioned Officer and Inventor with 6 U.S Patents......Ms Arvis Jones, Crime Scene First Responder with the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles CRT, and LAPD Workshop Facilitator/Juvenile Court Advocate.....Rev. Winston E. Jones, Founder and Chairman of the Board for The Applied Apologetics Association and several disciplines of Ministry worldwide. Dr Marcia Ann Mims Coppertino will act as Moderator and Interview Chair for the occasion, with the assistance of youth and teenangers from the local community who will also be asked to speak candidly about their relationship with crime and violence in their neighborhoods, and what the adult community can do to help them live within a crime free environment.

Crime and violence is on the rise, with more younger and more violent offenders; many first time offenders; and communities are streuggling for answers on how to partner with Law Enforcement and other organizations dedicated to the preservation of life.
Our scheduled Symposium, with panel guests from organizations and backgrounds that directly work daily with institutions involved in the community, will offer resources and solution based informaiton to help slow and stem the high tide of crime on the streets of Los angeles.
They will also answer questions from the audience that will enable those present the ability work in alignment successfully with other organizations to help make Los Angeles a safer city for it's residents, throguh the applicaiton of LOVE!
